Here's Ian M. Gralnek, lead author; "This guideline brings to light a variety of updates such as updated recommendations regarding the role of over the scope clips for active ulcer bleeding and non-bleeding visible vessels, as well as hemostatic forceps for these clinical indications. We have also updated our guidance on managing peptic ulcers with an adherent clot. Also included are first time recommendations on providing iron therapy to patients post peptic ulcer bleed."
