Here's Cecilia Binda and Carlo Fabbri, joint first authors; "This is ESGE's first T&T review on EUS in hepatology, with the aim to standardize the techniques and the positioning of EUS in the field of liver diseases. All aspects of EUS-guided liver stiffness assessment, focal lesion work-up, liver biopsy, portal pressure measurement, gastric variceal therapy, and portal vein sampling are assessed. The paper calls for structured training and consistent outcome definitions."
