Everyone doing gastroscopy therefore has the possibility to improve patient outcomes for the better, by adhering to quality standards and training themselves in recognizing early esophageal cancer and pre-cursor lesions even in asymptomatic patients.”

❗ Here's lead author Gianluca Esposito; "Endoscopic reports usually differ between endoscopists and endoscopy departments. This Quality Improvement Initiative provides a standardization of the upper GI endoscopy report to increase the reproducibility of endoscopy reports and improve the quality of upper GI endoscopy through the use of standardized classifications."
